(a) The syllabus for the Paper-I (Constitution, Civil Law and Procedure) is as follows:-

- The Code of Civil Procedure, 1908
- The Transfer of Property Act, 18822
- The Indian Contract Act, 18722
- The Specific Relief Act, 1963
- Limitation Act, 1963
(b) The syllabus for the Paper-II (Writing and Precis) is as follows:-
- Articles on social topics – 20 Marks
- Articles on legal topics – 20 Marks
- Summary (legal) – 20 Marks
- Translation, Hindi to English – 20 Marks
- Translation, English to Hindi – 20 Marks
(c) The syllabus for the Paper-III (Local Law, Criminal Law and Procedure) is as follows:-
- The Indian Penal Code, 1860
- The Indian Evidence Act, 1872
- Madhya Pradesh Land Revenue Code, 1959
- The Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973
- Negotiable Instruments Act, 1881 (Chapter 13 and Chapter 17)
- MP Location Control Act, 1961
(d) The syllabus for the Paper-IV (Judgment Writing) is as follows:-
- Settlement of issues – 10 Marks
- Charge structure – 10 Marks
- Judgment Writing (Civil) – 40 Marks
- Judgment Writing (Criminal) – 40 Marks
Interview:
Candidates declared successful in the Main Examination will be called for an interview. The interview will carry 50 marks. Candidates must obtain a minimum of 40 percent marks in the interview to be considered for final selection. The decision of the Madhya Pradesh High Court regarding the invitation of candidates for interview will be final. Candidates absent from the interview will be disqualified for selection. Candidates must present original/certified copies of all documents at the time of interview.
